Holy PBS, Batman

Maggie Smith is my hero.

I should really teach a class in watching entire television series in one day. Do you all watch Downton Abbey?? Because I’ve just finished the first two seasons. I started last night. I’m so productive. I can’t help it! It’s seriously just that good.

Never watched it? Check out the first season on Netflix. The third season has already started in the UK, but we won’t get to watch it until January. I CAN’T WAIT THAT LONG. The suspense is KILLING me!!

I’m hoping I can motivate myself for a run tomorrow morning. Probably just around a 5k or so. Need to get my groove back! I miss working out, but I also lack motivation. Womp womp.

Seriously though, Downton Abbey is so awesome. I want you all to start watching it IMMEDIATELY. Even if you don’t think that you’ll enjoy watching a period piece by Masterpiece Classics from PBS, I PROMISE YOU WILL!

In other news, I’ve revived my love fern. What’s that you say? Joel bought me a potted gerber daisy (they’re my favorite) and I promptly let it wither and die. But for the past week or so I’ve made sure to water it and open the blinds when I’m working and now there are new blooms! Yay! I’ll keep you updated on it’s progress – I’m sure you’re enthralled.

So tomorrow I need to do things. That don’t involve PBS.

I love Downton! I definitely committed a good chunk of my summer vacation watching the first 2 seasons. One of my friends sent me a link to the Season 3 episodes that are being aired in the UK (illegal, I’m sure…). I’m so torn about watching it. I definitely want to, but I kind of want to wait for everyone else to be watching to too… decisions, decisions…
