You didn’t believe me did you? I’m working on the adult trauma case study right now, but needed to take a break. This chick’s problems are overwhelming. But I can’t tell you about it because of nurse-fake patient confidentiality. I’m telling you, I worked so hard today I exhausted the cat.
So I didn’t run – but I did run to Walmart. I’ve been meaning to look at printers for awhile because my old one is dead (and I can’t find ink for it or the software to install it on my laptop) and it’s really inconvenient to have to get to school early to print stuff off. Especially when I’ve already maxed out my printing quota for the semester. With seven weeks left.
HP and Canon both had printers for $29. I went with the HP only because it had better reviews online and they didn’t have the Canon ink available in store. That’s probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. But now that I think about it, my old printer was a Canon, and I had a lot of trouble finding ink for it also. Go HP! You’re my favorite initials ever!
I’ve probably printed a million things today and it’s held up, printed quickly, and seems to be working just fine. Plus Wally World has a $4.00 2yr warranty, so I grabbed that too.
Like I said, I didn’t run today, yet. I may pop down to the gym and log some miles, but we’ll see how long this case study takes. I feel more motivated though. I’ve been reading this blog for a while, called Skinny Runner, and this chick is awesome. She’s hilarious and she runs a half marathon like every other day. Kind of a super star. Anyway, her upbeat posts have helped me to rekindle my fire. I know that I’ll have to start out small but one day I’ll be able to run a half. Maybe even a full. And then I’ll probably lose control of my bowels and collapse in that aluminum foil jacket. Awesome.
Have you found inspiration in other bloggers? What else inspires you? What helped you get out of an exercise/running rut??
xoxo
On a totally random note… I LOVE your handwriting! ha ha…
