DO YOUR THAAANG. ON THE RUNWAY – WWWWEEERRRRRRKKK!!
That’s right. I went with RuPaul. There’s really no other way to describe how today went down, other than to jazz it up with this song. Because today was, to put it simply, boring. Woohoo for orientation! Now, I will admit that I appreciate the thorough approach they are taking to covering our benefits, responsibilities, etc. At my last job, they handed us the employee handbook and said, “see ya later.” So yeah.
I’m very pleased to see some quality ND pieces being represented in the blogosphere.
Did some Ripped with Jillian when I got home and it was rough. I came downstairs so that I could go balls to the wall on the cardio, since when I’m upstairs I make too much noise and I’m sure our neighbors would turn us in for keeping unsanctioned elephants in the upstairs bedroom. I’m pretty sure they’re not covered in the pet deposit. Anyway, I also wanted to kick it up and use my heavier weights because I wasn’t feeling any burn using 3lb. weights. Problem: my next weight is 8lb. Which was way too heavy. I ended up not being able to finish all the reps in the last set, but I did kill the cardio. Burned 299 in 36 minutes, with 18 of that being the workout (remember it’s 3 sets of 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, 1 minute of abs).
I want to send a shoutout to WordPress for making some baller free layouts. I’m sure a lot of you read this in the reader on your phone or whatever so you might not always know what the home site looks like, but I’m always impressed with the free designs and whatnot. I mean, I would probably change it every day if I had the time. And it would be awesome. And obnoxious for everyone involved.
Well, sitting in a chair all day and doing super awesome ice breakers has taken its toll, so I think it’s time to get to bed.
